La Embajada se asoció por primera vez con importantes empresas australianas en Perú para organizar esta recepción. Estamos enormemente agradecidos con Downing Teal, Rio Tinto, Xstrata Copper, Minera IRL, Maptek, Ausenco, SKM, Transmin, Antamina, Latin Resources, Laconia South America, Karoon, Orica Chemicals y Qantas por sus contribuciones y apoyo. We launched the celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Australia and Peru with some style at our Australia Day Reception on 30 January 2013. The Embassy partnered for the first time with key Australian corporations in Peru for this reception. We are most grateful to Downing Teal, Rio Tinto, Xstrata Copper, Minera IRL, Maptek, Ausenco, SKM, Transmin, Antamina, Latin Resources, Laconia South America, Karoon, Orica Chemicals and Qantas for their contributions and support. We look forward to continuing this partnership. The Embassy and the business community together can significantly expand what Australia can achieve with Peru.

Cada 8 de marzo, en el Día Internacional de la Mujer, reconocemos y celebramos los logros que han conseguido las mujeres en la vida política, económica y social del mundo. A pesar de haber alcanzado un gran progreso en términos de igualdad de género y la emancipación de las mujeres, aun queda mucho por hacer en la lucha global para garantizar a las mujeres las oportunidades necesarias para desarrollar todo su potencial.
International Women's Day

Every March 8, International Women’s Day, we recognise and celebrate the achievements of women everywhere in social, economic and political life. Although great progress has been made in terms of gender equality and women’s emancipation, there is still space for action in the global struggle to reach the goal of women reaching their full potential.
The Australian federal election will be held on Saturday 14 September 2013.
Early (in-person) voting will be offered at this post from Monday 2 September 2013. Election arrangements including voting times will be published on this page closer to the election.
